Boutique Design Magazine hosts an annual trade show for hotel owners, designers, brands and vendors in the Hudson Yards, Javitz Center. Watts & Dray was honored to be asked to design the show’s Mainstage. The space plays host to discussions on all subjects hospitality from design and forecasting to finance and sustainability.

For our contribution, we leaned into fantasy travel, imagining the space as the Planet 55 Cancri e, Earth’s nearest neighbor capable of supporting life. NASA produce some incredible renderings of the planet’s atmosphere and potential landscape, which we used as inspiration for the palette and furniture forms.

For the objects in the space, we were fortunate to lean on our supplier friends from all over the design industry, featuring art, furniture and finishes from Artify Group, ASI, Audo Copenhagen, Brentano, County Draperies, Credible Group, Durkan, Kartell, Kenneth Cobonpue, Lumens, Louis Poulsen, Mater, NOROCK, Norr11, Oasiq, Pioneer, Reid Witlin, Simply Tables, Stylenations, Urbia and our very own Watts & Dray Tube Chairs.
