Watts & Dray was asked to rethink the host space at the entry to the exclusive, high-limit gaming room, The Talon Club in The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino. The tight space required a number of details all rendered in a palette opulent enough to encourage high-limit play in the club beyond. Conceptually, we worked out from the talons of a hawk imagining the micro scale of the bird’s feathers, eyes, wings and beak, blown up to a macro scale. We dialed it all up with gold leaf, black lacquer, gold velvet and polished brass. The result is a jewel box of a space that envelopes its guests in a rich, glowy warmth.
